No More Heroes on Wii No More

Grasshopper's Suda 51 states that Desperate Struggle will be the last No More Heroes game on the Wii.

In an interview with Edge Online, Grasshopper Manufacture's CEO Goichi Suda (aka Suda 51) revealed that his upcoming No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle will be the last time the series appears on the Nintendo Wii.

"I really want to make NMH a big franchise," he told us on a recent trip to see No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, "and with this second episode have bigger success. I'm putting a lot of care into developing this IP, as I feel there's a lot of potential.

"I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii," he added. "To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we've done everything we can with it now."

Desperate Struggle is currently pegged to release in Japan in late December, followed by the rest of the planet towards the end of March 2010.
